Find Your Spiritual Home

A Church For Everyone

We know you’re looking for something. Everybody is looking for something. It’s that spiritual something that pulls our lives together and gives us meaning.

We know the religious landscape is often bleak. People can be judgmental, hypocritical, petty, etc. And God knows, we are not perfect. But something has caught fire here. We’ve found a community of people who love each other selflessly and joyfully-as hard as that is to believe.

Find that something with us here at Forestville.

Celebrating 25 Years of Spaghetti Dinners!

A Heartfelt Thank You During Church Service

Forestville UMC is marking 25 years of serving our community through our beloved spaghetti dinners! This ministry has been a heartwarming tradition, bringing people together, supporting church programs, and sharing God’s love one plate at a time.

A WARM WELCOME TO REV. KENDRA BALLIET!

Kendra Balliet’s calling into ministry was not her first vocation.  For the first 20 years of employment, Kendra was a teacher.  She knew she would not always stay in the classroom, but she anticipated remaining in education, probably moving into administration.  She has remained in both, just in different context.

Kendra was an ordained elder in full connection at the 2021 annual conference.  Kendra is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry in church revitalization.  She is a graduate of a United Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and a concentration in leadership and revitalization.  She also graduated from Clarion University of PA with a BS in elementary education and an MS in special education.  Kendra was raised in Brockway and DuBois.

Pastor Kendra’s husband, John, serves as the pastor of Grace United Methodist Ministry in New Castle.  Pastor Kendra’s three children and John’s two children are all grown, leaving them empty nesters.  They also have two college-aged grandchildren, two elementary-aged grandsons, and a toddler granddaughter!

Please join us in welcoming Pastor Kendra and John to Forestville UMC and stop in anytime to worship with us!  Sunday service begins @ 9:30am @ 124 Boyers Rd Forestville.  We’d love to see you soon!

Testimonials

"We love our church and church family because they're always there for us and make us feel at home. We laugh, grow, and do life together, and that means everything."

What makes Forestville UMC so special? The love, kindness, and friendship we have found in this small church. The unity of everyone helping each other is so very special.
Larry & Verna Stewart
Worshipping at Forestville United Methodist Church feels a lot like coming home. We've lived in a lot of places and always attended church where we lived but there is something special about FUMC. While we live a distance from the church, we have enjoyed making friends with a group of people who believe in answered prayers. We feel that FUMC is a classic example of a warm, friendly country church. And our pastor brings a message from the bible and applies to daily living.
