Find Your Spiritual Home

A Church For Everyone

We know you’re looking for something. Everybody is looking for something. It’s that spiritual something that pulls our lives together and gives us meaning.

We know the religious landscape is often bleak. People can be judgmental, hypocritical, petty, etc. And God knows, we are not perfect. But something has caught fire here. We’ve found a community of people who love each other selflessly and joyfully-as hard as that is to believe.

Find that something with us here at Forestville.

Celebrating 25 Years of Spaghetti Dinners!

A Heartfelt Thank You During Church Service

Forestville UMC is marking 25 years of serving our community through our beloved spaghetti dinners! This ministry has been a heartwarming tradition, bringing people together, supporting church programs, and sharing God’s love one plate at a time.

Thank You Pastor Ken!

Dear Forestville Faithful & friends we’ve not yet met-

We’re sharing news of upcoming changes within our church community. After eight years of faithful service, Pastor Ken Miller will conclude his pastoral appointment with us and will continue his ministry in Greene County.  United Methodist Church pastors do move from one appointment to another; this is a part of our denomination heritage.

Pastor Ken’s final Sunday serving Forestville and Harrisville Churches will be June 14.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that Rev. Kendra Balliet has been appointed to serve both churches. Rev. Kendra’s first Sunday in the pulpit will be August 16. She will be joining us, leaving her current churches in the Meadville area.

We will share details about a welcoming event for Rev. Kendra and her husband, John, later this summer. Pastor John will begin serving Grace United Methodist Ministry in New Castle on July 1. Please plan to join us on August 16 as we welcome Rev. Kendra to our church family.

Testimonials

"We love our church and church family because they're always there for us and make us feel at home. We laugh, grow, and do life together, and that means everything."

What makes Forestville UMC so special? The love, kindness, and friendship we have found in this small church. The unity of everyone helping each other is so very special.

Worshipping at Forestville United Methodist Church feels a lot like coming home. We've lived in a lot of places and always attended church where we lived but there is something special about FUMC. While we live a distance from the church, we have enjoyed making friends with a group of people who believe in answered prayers. We feel that FUMC is a classic example of a warm, friendly country church. And our pastor brings a message from the bible and applies to daily living.
